Accommodation Booking Policy:
Cancelation Policy
- If cancelled or modified bookings more than 14 days before the date of arrival, no penalty will be charged.
- If cancelled or modified bookings between 14 - 4 days before date of arrival, 50% of the booking item amount will be charged.
- If cancelled or modified bookings 3 days or less including a no show then 100% of the booking item amount will be charged.
- In the event TERT must cancel booking, 100% refund will be given
- TERT encourages all guests, upon confirming booking with us, to review their travel insurance policy to ensure full coverage of airline cancelations resulting from bad weather or otherwise as TERT enforces its cancelation policy as documented in this document.
- Please be advised that any bookings made at Tanna Evergreen Resort after the 1st of March 2020 will be subject to our full cancelation policy. Therefore any cancelation made due to Coronavirus, bad weather or any other sickness or reason, will be subject to our full cancelation policy. Furthermore, Tanna Evergreen Resort will expect any guest who has complied with Government and health officials during their journey to Tanna Island.
2) Payment Policy
- Accommodation must be paid 100% on arrival before occupying the rooms
- TERT accept cash at the resort in currency Vatu, AUD, USD, CFP.
- TERT accept MasterCard and Visa either with the card in person or via email.
- Credit card payment incurs a 5% credit card fee.
- TERT will accept LPO providing it is honored within 14 days by TERT approved government agencies.
- TERT will not accept cheque’s from non approved persons, IOU or any other forms of payment other than detailed in this document.
- TERT only deems payment made when received cash or funds are actually in TERT account.
- TERT accept electronic payment into TERT account in Vila as follows;

3) Rates Policy
- All rates are quoted in Vatu.
- All rates herein include Vat @ 12.5%.
- All rates herein include Tourism Development Levy @ 0.5%.
- All rates including complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby, airport transfer, welcome drink and continental breakfast.
- All rates subject to price fluctuations when TERT deem it necessary, existing bookings are exempt
- Max person definition:
Any person including children 5 years or older (refer to child policy)
4) Check In Policy
- Check in time 2.00pm (early check in subject to availability).
- Check out time 10.00am (late check out available until 1.00pm for late flights and subject to availability).
5) Child Policy
- Child 0-5 years if using existing beds are FOC
- Baby sitting available at 1,000 vatu per hour
- Child who is FOC can not go to Volcano Tour or Blue Cave Combo Tour.
6) Booking Confirmation Policy
- Accommodation can only receive a confirmed booking after 100% payment received.
- TERT deem a confirmed booking via email notification.
7) Group Booking Policy
- Group booking means 10 or more rooms in one booking.
- Group booking requires minimum 50% deposit to confirm booking.
- Group booking subject to all other clauses in the Cancelation Policy.
- Group booking has alternative accommodation facilities and booking options available.
Tour Booking Policy:
1) All participants on Tours must sign indemnity form prior to commencement of Tour
2) Tour cancelation within 48 hours will incur a 100% cancelation fee, also need a written email notice to inform TERT.
3) All tours subject to availability, TERT reserve the right to cancel for any reason
4) Child under 5 years are not permitted on the Volcano Tour & Blue Cave Tour
- *Baby siting available at 1,000 vatu per hour
5) TERT Reservations must confirm reservations in writing
6) All Tours have a minimum requirement of 2 adults.
7) Child 0-5 years FOC and 6-11 years are half price
8) Group bookings are subject to special rates and conditions (Group Tour Bookings Means 15 or more adults)
9) Payment Policy

- TERT accept cash at the resort in currency Vatu, AUD, USD, CFP.
- TERT accept MasterCard and Visa either with the card in person or via email.
- Credit card payment incurs a 5% surcharge.
- TERT will accept LPO providing it is honored within 14 days by TERT approved government agencies.
- TERT will not accept cheque’s via mail, IOU or any other forms of payment other than detailed in this document.
- TERT only deems payment made when received cash or funds are actually in TERT account.

Resort General Policy:
1) All guests are subject to Resort rules. This includes a reasonable standard of behavior and dress at all times. Noise restraints especially after dark are enforced at this resort. We ask all guests to follow the direction and requests of our friendly staff when asked to show restraint.
2) All laws of Vanuatu are to be followed while staying at our Resort. Failure to do so will end with the police taking the matter into their hands.
3) Although the Resort and Staff will do everything in their power to ensure your safety and the safe keeping of your property, we wish to advise all guests that they should carry adequate insurance for themselves and their belongings while staying at our resort, as the Resort does not carry any insurance for such events.
